I have compared you to a hamster brainless running in his endless wheel
Or a horse walking by eyeblinder seeing only meters in front.
Whilst I wished you were like the migrant bird, deeply feeling his far away goal
Or a wolf, in his well-organized clan, focus hunting his prey.
I have seen you running frenetically around for a few seeds like a turkey, ending up roasted
Or a parasite sucking other people’s blood with no added magic.
And I wished so much you could be like the monkey, candidly playing and exploring
Or a whale occupying the whole ocean.
I have seen the cynical avid thirsty hyena, fearfully stealing from the peaceful
When the elegant butterfly was enriching the forest.
